HOUSTON – An invitee to a Houston FedEx Office Print & Ship claims she was injured in fall because of an obstacle left in the doorway.

Susan Louise Harrington filed a complaint on July 2 in the Harris County District Court against FedEx Office and Print Services Inc. alleging premises liability and negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 3, 2015, she went to defendant's office center in Houston to pick up pictures she had ordered when she tripped and fell over a box that was directly in the doorway. She alleges she sustained injuries that required surgery.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual, exemplary damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, cost of court and such other lawful and equitable relief. She is represented by Michael P. Nassif of Michael P. Nassif Attorney at Law in Sugar Land.
