BEAUMONT – A Montgomery County woman alleges she was injured at a Groves property because of slippery conditions.
Maria Elda Orta filed a complaint on June 30 in the Jefferson County District Court against Mildred Theresa Davis and Diane Hall alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was at defendants' premises when she sustained serious and permanent injuries when she fell on a slippery concrete driveway. She alleges she suffered a broken right arm and crushed rotator cuff.
The plaintiff holds Davis and Hall responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently allowed a dangerous condition to exist on their property and failed to warn her of the alleged condition.
The plaintiff seeks damages in an amount within the jurisdictional limits of the court, plus interest, costs of court and all further relief to which plaintiff is justly entitled. She is represented by John Paul Hopkins of Hopkins Law Firm in Conroe.
