HOUSTON – A Fort Bend County woman alleges that she was injured in a fall at a Sugar Land restaurant.
Rosa Acosta filed a complaint on July 19 in the Galveston County District Court against Goodtime Factory LLC, doing business as GattiTown, Jia Cherng Yuan and Mike Yuan alleging premises liability.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 20, 2015, she was dining and was walking at defendants' restaurant when she slipped and fell on a puddle of water that was on the floor. She alleges she sustained serious injuries resulting in pain and suffering, mental anguish and medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds Goodtime Factory LLC, Jia Cherng Yuan and Mike Yuan responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain a safe premises and failed to provide adequate warning about the existence of a dangerous condition.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, interest, court costs and all further relief to which she may be entitled. She is represented by Henry D. Drewinko of Henry D. Drewinko Attorney at Law in Houston.
