Law money 08

HOUSTON – A former employee of AIPC Energy alleges he is owed unpaid overtime compensation.

Brian Esther, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, filed a complaint on July 27 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against AIPC Energy LLC alleging that the former employer violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he and other solids control technicians were not paid overtime as required by the FLSA. He alleges he was paid a straight time rate for all hours worked over 40 per week instead of being paid at a rate of time-and-one-half.

The plaintiff seeks an order allowing this action to proceed as a collective action, award for all unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, attorneys’ fees, costs and interest and any further relief that he is justly entitled. He is represented by Taft L. Foley II of The Foley Law Firm in Houston.
