GALVESTON – A Colleyville employer is accused of failing to pay a former medical assistant and client account manager overtime pay.

Jenna Block filed a complaint on Aug. 2 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Low-T Centers Inc. and Low-T Shared Services LLC alleging that they violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed by the defendants for three years until April and was classified as an hourly employee. She alleges she routinely worked off-the-clock and was not paid for this time.

The plaintiff holds Low-T Centers Inc. and Low-T Shared Services LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly knew or should have known that its policies and practices violated the FLSA.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney’s fees and costs and any further relief the court deems necessary and proper. She is represented by Hessam Parzivand of The Parzivand Law Firm PLLC in Stafford.
