HOUSTON – A female employee of a linen cleaning company has filed a lawsuit in response to alleged mistreatment from her supervisor, according to recent Harris County District Court records.

The worker, whom the suit identifies as “L.S.”, initiated legal action against Wrinkle Free Linen Service, Inc. in the Harris County 334rd District Court on Aug. 11.

L.S. claims Angel Castro physically attacked her on numerous occasions while she was on the clock. She further accuses Castro, who is not a party in the case, of sexually assaulting her.

The defendant and its owner, Gerardo Martinez, purportedly knew of the physical and sexual abuse over which L.S. sues. Martinez, however, failed to discipline Castro and retained him as the complainant’s supervisor, the original petition says.

L.S. insists the ordeal caused her to suffer emotion distress.

Consequently, she seeks more than $1 million and a jury trial.

Her legal counsel are attorneys Beatriz Sosa-Morris and John Neuman of the law firm Sosa-Morris Neuman in Houston.
