GALVESTON – A Pasadena resident is seeking damages over alleged injuries sustained in a collision with a Galveston garbage truck.

Cuore Falkner filed a complaint on Sept. 11 in the Galveston County District Court against the city of Galveston alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 8, 2016, plaintiff was injured when a garbage truck driven by the defendant's employee recklessly entered an intersection at J and 10th streets and struck plaintiff’s vehicle.

The plaintiff holds the city of Galveston responsible because defendant's employee allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to apply brakes in a timely manner.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and such other and further relief to which plaintiff may be entitled. The plaintiff is represented by Albert Lee Giddens of Law Office of Albert Lee Giddens in Pasadena.
