HOUSTON – A widow alleges that her late husband's medical needs were not timely met during his stay at a Harris County facility.

Norma Burks, individually and as representative of the estate of Jessie Burks, deceased filed a complaint on Sept. 20 in the Harris County District Court against HMG Park Manor of Cypress Station LLC, doing business as Park Manor of Cypress Station; Bharat B. According to the complaint, Jessie Burks was admitted to Park Manor of Cypress Station in July 2015 and died Nov. 4, 2015. The suit states Jessie Burks suffered pressure sores and infection of decubitus ulcers with purulent drainage and a blood clot in the leg before his death.
