BEAUMONT – A Jefferson County company alleges tenants failed to pay rent.
Parkdale Mall CMBS LLC filed a complaint on Sept. 15 in the Jefferson County District Court against Angela Love, Jolene Barberry, Jennifer LaValley and Heaven Blessed LLC, doing business as Club Tabby
According to the complaint, Heaven Blessed entered into a written five-year lease agreement with the plaintiff in May 2014. The suit states the remaining defendants entered into a written agreement for assignment of lease in April 2016.
The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to pay the rent and fees and now $24,992.69 is due and owing.
The plaintiff seeks damages, attorney's fees and such other and further appropriate relief that it may be entitled. It is represented by Karen Bennett of Germer PLLC in Beaumont.
