GALVESTON — A individual is suing William W. Botts and Kin-Tek Analytical Inc, citing alleged breach of promissory note and conspiracy.

James J. McKinley filed a complaint on Oct. 4, in the Galveston County District Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to perform their obligations under the contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in March and April 2014, the plaintiff and defendant Botts loaned $50,000 each to Kin-Tek Analytical to purchase Kin-Tek Laboratories assets. As a result of the defendants' actions, he has been harmed financially in the principal amount of $50,000, plus interest and attorneys' fees. The plaintiff holds William W. Botts and Kin-Tek Analytical Inc.responsible because the defendants allegedly paid defendant Botts' $50,000 notes but denied and refused to pay off the plaintiff's $50,000 notes.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and all other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Michael D. West of West & West LLP in Houston.
