Former clerk alleges he is owed wages from BNS Management Inc.

HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges that he is owed unpaid overtime wages from his employment as a clerk at a convenience store.

Mirza Hyder Ali filed a complaint on Oct. 6 on behalf of herself and all others similarly situated in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against BNS Management Inc., Sunita Jain and Pushp Kumar Jain alleging that they violated the overtime pay provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Sept. 7, 2015, and June 30, 2016, he worked at defendants' Exxon Food Mart Deli store in Channelview without receiving proper overtime compensation. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, post-judgment interest, attorneys’ fees and costs and such other legal and equitable relief. He is represented by Salar Ali Ahmed of Ali S. Ahmed PC in Houston.
