Your Cost Furniture LLC alleged to have delivered defective furniture

HOUSTON – A Georgia couple alleges that a Harris County furniture business failed to deliver furniture on time.

Doug Gorman and Allison Gorman filed a complaint on Oct. 27 in the Harris County District Court against Your Cost Furniture LLC alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on April 26, they ordered 40 pieces of furniture from defendant to be delivered to their new home on May 26. They allege they wired transfer the agreed amount of $23,520 to defendant on April 26 but they did not receive said furniture on the agreed upon date. After delivery, they allege they discovered that some of the items were damaged or defective and some were not delivered. 

The plaintiffs holds Your Cost Furniture LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to deliver the furniture ordered on time and failed to deliver some pieces completely. Defendant's employees allegedly also damaged plaintiffs' wall and stairs during delivery.

The plaintiffs seek monetary relief of more than $100,000 and such other relief to which they are entitled. They are represented by Karalynn C. Cromeens and Jonelle Oldacre of The Cromeens Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
