HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges he was injured while working at an establishment when the ladder he was using collapsed.

Daniel Kainer filed a complaint on Oct. 31 in the Harris County District Court against Night on the Town LLC, doing business as Texas Tavern Bar & Grill, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 15, 2015, he was injured at defendant's Texas Tavern Bar & Grill when the ladder supplied by its manager/owner suddenly collapsed and caused him to fall.

He alleges he sustained severe injuries and damages resulting in physical and mental pain, lost wages and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Night on the Town LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide a safe ladder for his use and failed to warn him that the ladder was defective.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual and exemplary damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court and such other and further relief. He is represented by Eric D. Nielsen of The Nielsen Law Firm PC in Houston.
