GALVESTON – A Dickinson advertising and marketing company claims a Florida company failed to pay its invoices in full.

Market Doctors Technology LLC filed a complaint on Oct. 31 in the Galveston County District Court against TransFirst Media Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 17, plaintiff agreed to lease 25 of its digital advertising kiosks to defendant for a total amount of $8,750 per month. After all just and lawful offsets, payments and credits have been allowed, the total amount allegedly currently due and owing is $15,450.

The plaintiff holds TransFirst Media Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly has failed and refused to pay the full balance.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages in the amount of $15,450, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court, attorney fees and any other relief to which it is entitled. It is represented by Lori Hood and Tiye Foley of Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz PC in Houston.
