GALVESTON – A Galveston County consumer alleges he has been without reliable plumbing all of 2017 because of the actions of a San Antonio plumber.

Shawn McPeters filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in the Galveston County District Court against Gabriel Mendez, doing business as Bueno Plumbville, alleging negligent misrepresentation and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in December 2016, defendant performed plumbing services on his property with a two-year warranty. Less than three months after completion of the job, the plaintiff alleges he experienced plumbing issues with defendant's work. The suit states the plaintiff contacted the defendant about repairs, but no repairs have been made.

The plaintiff alleges that has been without reliable plumbing all of 2017 and needs approximately $40,000 to fix the problem created by the defendant.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief totaling $100,000 or less and all other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Ty A. Gibson and Brett Hill of Gibson Hill PC in Houston.
