HOUSTON – An Indiana man alleges he was injured in the parking lot of a Houston auto repair facility because it failed to manage its employees.

Craig Salhoff filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in the Harris County District Court against Halladreaux Enterprises LLC, doing business as Christian Bros. Automotive-West Road, and Christian Bros. Automotive Corp. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 9, 2015, he took his vehicle at defendants' facility for repair. The suit states that while the plaintiff was walking in the parking lot, an employee of defendant who was road-testing another vehicle struck the plaintiff with the vehicle. He alleges he sustained severe injuries to his hip, leg and other part of his body that caused him to suffer pain, discomfort, mental distress and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Halladreaux Enterprises LLC and Christian Brothers Automotive Corp. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly train, manage and supervise their employees and failed to adequately warn him of the impending danger.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and all further relief that are lawful and equitable. He is represented by Scott P. Armstrong and Megan C. Savage of Armstrong Lee Savage LLP in Houston.
