HOUSTON – A Fort Bend County couple are seeking more than $1 million in damages after the husband was electrocuted while installing a sign.

Qunying Li and Yuping Zhang filed a complaint on Nov. 22, 2017, in the Harris County District Court against CenterPoint Energy and River Oaks Lumber and Hardware Co. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on July 9, 2017, Qunying Li was critically injured while securing a vinyl sign to a billboard with metal brackets.
