HOUSTON – A Harris County taxi operator alleges he was injured when another driver hit him with the door of a cab.

Eric Sefah filed a complaint on Nov. 30, 2017, in the Harris County District Court against Four Seasons Cab LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 18, 2016, he was walking in the designated taxi lot at Hobby Airport when suddenly and without warning defendant's taxi driver hit him in the chest with his taxi door. The suit states the plaintiff lost consciousness, fell to the ground and was injured.

The plaintiff holds Four Seasons Cab LLC responsible because defendant's taxi driver allegedly failed to operate the taxi in a safe manner and failed to pay attention to the surroundings.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and such other lawful and equitable relief. He is represented by Ivan J. Capellan of Hightower Capellan in Houston.
