GALVESTON – A Galveston County limited liability company alleges an individual has failed to pay a debt.
DRE Properties LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 5, 2017, in the Galveston County District Court against Randall Pettit alleging breach of lease agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 1, 2014, the plaintiff leased certain real property to Ocean Grill Inc. and that the defendant unconditionally guaranteed the full and punctual performance by Ocean Grill. The suit states Ocean Grill failed to pay rent from March 2017 on and failed to make deposits for payment of taxes and insurance for 2016 and 2017.
The plaintiff holds Pettit responsible because despite demands for payments, defendant allegedly failed to do so.
The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but not more than $200,000 and such other and further relief. It is represented by Thomas W. McQuage in Galveston.
