Couple claims Legacy Offshore LLC failed to pay wages, accrued vacation time

GALVESTON – A Galveston couple allege that they are owed unpaid wages from their former employer.

Charles Zamora and Jessica Zamora filed a complaint on Dec. 21, 2017, in the Galveston County District Court against Legacy Offshore LLC, Louis E. Schaefer Jr. and Louis E. Schaefer Jr. 2006 Trust citing the Louisiana Limited Liability Company Act, breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, Legacy Offshore LLC was formed in January 2008 and Charles Zamora owned a 10 percent interest. Charles Zamora alleges after he left the company, he was not paid his accrued vacation time and failed to pay some of his salary. 

Jessica Zamora alleges that she formerly worked for Legacy to process payroll. She alleges that she is owed more than $61,000 in unpaid wages and also wasn't paid accrued vacation time.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek monetary relief of more than $1 million and any further relief to which they are entitled. They are represented by Joe House and Ben House of House Perron & House PLLC in Houston.
