HOUSTON – A Harris County accountant has filed a lawsuit in an effort to recover a balance, recent state district court records indicate.
Charlie Gerhardt’s suit, which was filed on Dec. 28 in the Harris County 80th District Court, claims Owen C. Wang owes Gerhardt $7,107 for services performed in connection with Wang’s litigation.
Both parties entered into a professional services agreement earlier this year, according to the original petition.
Wang reportedly paid Gerhardt $30,000 though he owed a total balance of $37,107.
“The defendant has breached the agreement by failing and refusing to pay this amount,” the suit says.
