HOUSTON – An Etro Lounge guest alleges she was injured on the premises because of water near a set of stairs.

Megan Davies filed a complaint on Dec. 29, 2017, in the Harris County District Court against Zelus Enterprises LLC, doing business as Etro Lounge, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 20, 2017, she was a patron Etro Lounge in Houston and slipped on liquid on the floor. The suit states she fell down at least three steps, hitting her head and hips on the stairs and ground. She alleges she sustained injuries to her lower back, hips and legs.

The plaintiff holds Zelus Enterprises LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide a notice that the floor was wet and failed to maintain the premises in a safe condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other general and special relief. She is represented by Tej Paranjpe and Benjamin H. Ruemke of Paranjpe & Mahadass LLP in Houston.
