Buyer alleges she has not received deed/title to Houston property

Contract 02

HOUSTON – A Houston woman alleges she has not received a deed/title to a property she purchased.

Tangie Roberts filed a complaint on Jan. 2 in the Harris County District Court against Molly Peck alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 31, 2010, plaintiff entered into a contract with defendant to sell a church property in Houston for $50,000. The plaintiff alleges she paid the full amount and on March 17, 2017, demanded defendant to surrender the deed/title to the property. To date, the plaintiff alleges she has not received the deed/title to the property.

The plaintiff holds Peck responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to surrender the deed/title to the property and continues to refuse to do so.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages within the jurisdictional limits of the court, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court and such other lawful and equitable relief. She is represented by Harrison R. Fisher Sr. of The Law Office of Harrison R. Fisher Sr. PLLC in Houston.
