GALVESTON – A Deer Park resident is accusing a Mesquite business of fraud after it allegedly failed to follow through with an offer.

David Craft filed a complaint on Jan. 12 in the Galveston County District Court against Holiday World of Dallas LLC alleging common law fraud, negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 11, 2017, he entered into an agreement with the defendant to trade in his 2008 Raptor travel trailer for $15,000 as a trade in for a 39-foot Montana RV. He alleges the defendant failed to follow through with its original trade offer and that his Raptor travel trailer had damage on the back panel and bolts after it was briefly in the defendant's possession.

The plaintiff holds Holiday World of Dallas LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly made material false representations to him and concealed or failed to disclose material facts.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of $100,000 or less and such other lawful and equitable relief. He is represented by William Marcus Wilkerson in Beaumont.
