HOUSTON – A father alleges his son was injured at a Humble park on an unprotected part of a trampoline.

Alastair Reid, as next friend of A.R., filed a complaint on Jan. 9 in the Harris County District Court against Humble Urban Air LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 15, 2017, A.R. was seriously injured while a visitor at defendant's Urban Air Trampoline Park in Humble. The suit states that while jumping on one of the trampolines, A.R. struck his knee on an unprotected metal component of the trampoline.

The plaintiff holds Humble Urban Air LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently created a dangerous condition, failed to implement proper safety protocols for its employees and failed to inspect and make safe its trampolines.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other and further relief. He is represented by Scott P. Armstrong and Joshua D. Lee of Armstrong Lee Savage LLP in Houston.
