Westwind Helicopter Inc. alleges it is owed more than $75,000 for services

Late 05

GALVESTON – A Santa Fe flight services provider alleges it was not paid for work performed in support of maintaining a well and/or pipeline.

Westwind Helicopter Inc. filed a complaint on Jan. 19 in the Galveston County District Court against Prime 8 Offshore, Hoactzin Partners LP and Norman Ackermann alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in April and May 2016, the plaintiff provided aircraft, personnel and flight services to defendant Prime 8. The suit states Prime 8 and Ackermann have operations in the Gulf of Mexico and that Prime 8 is also operating on behalf of defendant Hoactzin.

After credit for the partial payment, the amount of $79,922.19 allegedly remains due and owing to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but not more than $200,000 and such other and further relief to which the plaintiff may be justly entitled. It is represented by Ron T. Capehart of The Bassett Firm in Dallas.
