HOUSTON – A Bexar County woman is seeking more than $200,000 after allegedly slipping and falling in a hotel lobby bathroom.
Delores Hudson filed a complaint on Jan. 22 in the Harris County District Court against Wyndham Worldwide Inc., Wyndham Hotel Management Inc. and Felcor/JPM Hospitality LLC alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 16, 2017, she was a guest at defendants' Wyndham Houston-Medical Center Hotel & Suites when she slipped and fell in a puddle of water on the hotel lobby bathroom's floor. She alleges she suffered injuries, medical expenses, pain and suffering, mental anguish and loss of earning capacity.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to correct the dangerous condition or warn its guests that such condition existed.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and all other just and appropriate relief. She is represented by Courtney R. Robinson and John Arthur Daspit of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
