HOUSTON – Claiming she swallowed a dangerous object almost two years ago while eating dinner at an Italian restaurant, Houston resident Madilyn Stein has filed a lawsuit.

Stein’s suit, which was filed on Jan. 23 in the Harris County 133rd District Court, accuses Pronto Cucinino LP of serving the plaintiff a meal with a hidden 25mm piece of metal brush bristle.

Court documents assert the object became lodged in Stein’s throat, stating her purported injuries necessitated surgery.

The defendant is additionally faulted for failing to inspect the food prior to giving it to Stein.

Consequently, she seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
