HOUSTON – A patron of a Houston restaurant is seeking more than $200,000 after falling there.
Eusebius Ojonta filed a complaint on Jan. 23 in the Harris County District Court against Egg & I Restaurant, First Watch Restaurant Corp. and CAAM Services alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 22, 2016, he was injured at defendants' restaurant when he slipped on some liquid on the floor. He alleges he sustained injuries to his head, body and limbs.
The plaintiff holds Egg & I Restaurant, First Watch Restaurant Corp. and CAAM Services responsible because the defendants allegedly willfully allowed the wet floor to remain in the premises for an extended period of time and failed to warn their guests of the unsafe condition.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he may show himself justly entitled. He is represented by Frank A. Mba of Mba Associates Law Firm in Houston.
