The plaintiff is based in Plano.

It has pursued legal action in response to what it asserts is an “illegal and unauthorized” use of United States Patent Number 7,454,430.

Court documents assert the complainant owns the ‘430 patent, which was issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Nov. 18, 2008.

The subject patent, entitled “System and method for facts extraction and domain knowledge repository creation from unstructured and semi-structured documents,” reportedly contains three independent claims and 24 dependent claims.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
