BROWNSVILLE – A professional photographer residing in Austin claims a Pasadena pest control and lawn care business used his photos without permission.
Alexander Wild filed a complaint on Feb. 2 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Innova Supply Inc., doing business as Solutions Pest and Lawn, and Does 1 to 10 alleging copyright infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in November 2016, he discovered that defendants were using 10 of his copyrighted images on their website to advertise their business. He alleges he did not authorize the use of the images.
The plaintiff seeks an injunction preventing defendants from further infringement of his copyrighted works, award for statutory damages of up to $150,000 for each infringement, general and special damages, litigation costs, attorney's fees and such other just and proper relief.
