Wilbert Carrillo, Victor Villegas and Osvaldo Mendo filed a complaint on Feb. 2 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Su Familia Cars & Trucks LLC and Sina Darvish Kojouri alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they generally worked more than 60 hours per week for the defendants.

The plaintiffs holds Su Familia Cars & Trucks LLC and Kojouri responsible because the defendants allegedly paid them a set salary for all hours they worked during the workweek and failed to compensate them at a rate of time-and-one-half for their overtime work.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek to recover unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, attorney’s fees and such other just and equitable relief. They are represented by Josef F. Buenker of The Buenker Law Firm in Houston.
