HOUSTON – A Harris County couple alleges a Houston company did not repair a leaking roof as hired to do.
Ramona and Danny Scarlett filed a complaint on Feb. 5 in the Harris County District Court against Stonecraft Builders LLC and Fredrico Nell alleging violation of Texas property codes, breach of contract and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs had an issue with water leaking from a porch into their home and the defendants represented that they could repair it. The suit states that the work done by the defendants was shoddy and unprofessional and that leaks were still an issue after the work was completed.
The plaintiffs seek monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and such other and further relief. They are represented by Nicolas M. Bazan of Nicolas M. Bazan PC in Houston.
