HOUSTON – A Harris County man is suing local attorney William K. Vaughn for allegedly committing legal malpractice in connection with his personal injury case.
Jose Rodriguez’s lawsuit against Vaughn says the defendant misrepresented to Rodriguez about being qualified to handle his litigation arising from on the job injuries sustained in Connecticut.
Court papers filed on Feb. 6 assert that Vaughn was not qualified, adding he allowed the statute of limitations to run without filing a lawsuit or referring the matter to an attorney with more expertise.
Consequently, Rodriguez seeks unspecified monetary damages.
He is represented by Lennon C. Wright of Houston.
