GALVESTON – A maritime accident last year prompted a Texas seaman to file a lawsuit.

According to recent court documents, Minh Ngo was assigned to work on a boat owned and operated by Texas Gulf Seafood, Inc. when it was involved in a collision on Aug. 17, 2017.

The boat reportedly crashed into a rock embankment. Ngo claims he sustained injuries.

His suit faults the respondent for failing to safely operate the vessel, as well as neglecting to properly supervise and train its crew.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by M. Paul Skabranek and Betty Feng of the law firm Pierce Skrabanek PLLC in Houston.
