HOUSTON – A furniture mover is suing his employer after he allegedly fell on the job two years ago, recent Harris County District Court records show.

Gregory Walker’s lawsuit against A Rocket Moving & Delivery, Inc., doing business as A Rocket Moving & Storage, Inc., says Walker used a pair of ramps while unloading the defendant’s moving truck on Feb. 19, 2016 when the ramps gave away beneath him.

Court papers filed on Feb. 19 in the Harris County 334th District Court further assert that the plaintiff then fell several feet to the ground and struck his head on top of a cabinet in the process.

He reportedly suffered lacerations as well as injuries to his neck, back, and shoulder.

The suit faults A Rockets for failing to supervise him in addition to failing to provide sufficient tools, equipment, and manpower to help him safely perform his job duties.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages.

He is represented by Robert Pelton of Houston.
