HOUSTON – An employee with Jacobs Field Services claims he was hurt while working at a Brazoria County chemical plant.

Jorge Arredondo is suing INEOS, which owns and operates the facility in Chocolate Bayou, for getting pinned between two pieces of machinery on Apr. 1, 2017.

Court documents filed on Mar. 1 in the Harris County 125th District Court say the welding machine and roller malfunctioned and crushed the plaintiff’s back, abdomen, legs, and groin area.

The original petition faults INEOS for improper maintenance.

Consequently, Arredondo seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

Michael S. Tilton of the law firm Tilton & Tilton LLP in Houston is representing the complainant.
