HOUSTON – An alleged financial dispute between stockholders is the subject of a local state district lawsuit.
In court documents filed on Mar. 5 in the Harris County 295th District Court, Miguel Solis claims David Angel is depriving him of his share of the profits generated by Angel Medical Supply, LLC.
The suit states Angel violated a pair of six-year-old business agreements between him and Solis when he failed to repay the plaintiff “any amount of money” for his capital contribution of $300,000.
Solis adds he received about $100,000 in distributions even though Angel Medical made “multiple millions” from 2011 to this day, accusing Angel of funding an unrelated venture without his knowledge.
The complaint further asserts Angel and his namesake company have failed to be transparent in regards to other monetary matters.
Consequently, Solis seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial in addition to a temporary restraining order against the defendants.
Lionel Martin of the law firm Garcia-Martin & Martin, P.C. in Houston serves as the complainant’s lead counsel.
