Law money 09

HOUSTON – A La Porte man alleges his former College Park employer owes him unpaid overtime wages.

Armando Soliz filed a complaint on March 6 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Petrochem Services Group LLC and Barry Seabranch alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between March of 2016 and November 2016, he regularly worked for more than 40 hours per week for defendants. He alleges he did not receive overtime compensation at a rate of no less than one-and-one-half times his regular rate of pay for each hour worked in excess of 40 in a workweek.

The plaintiff holds Petrochem Services Group LLC and Seabranch responsible because the defendants allegedly also unlawfully deducted time from his time worked without properly compensating him.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages for unpaid wages, liquidated damages, attorney’s fees and costs and such other lawful and equitable relief. He is represented by Charles L. Scalise and Daniel B. Ross of Ross Law Group PC in Austin.
