HOUSTON – After he reportedly fell through a roof last year while performing a task, Harris County resident Javier Gonzalez has filed a lawsuit.

Gonzalez’s suit, which was filed on Mar. 7 in the Harris County 55th District Court, claims the roof was part of a building in Pinehurst owned by Iron Kreation LLC; Dover Equipment, Inc.; and DoverMEI.

The plaintiff states he was cutting tree limbs last Oct. 10 when the aforementioned roof partially collapsed and caused him to fall to the floor below.

Court papers assert the defendants knew about the supposedly dangerous condition but did nothing to address it.

Consequently, Gonzalez seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by J. Moises Cedillos of the Cedillos Law Firm, PLLC in Houston.
