HOUSTON – A Humble resident is alleged to have failed to pay a loan in full used to purchase a motorcycle.
Systems & Services Technologies Inc., as servicing agent for Roadrunner Financial Inc., filed a complaint on March 8 in the Harris County District Court against Johnny Vega III alleging breach of contract and possession of collateral.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 27, 2017, defendant obtained a loan to purchase a motorcycle in the amount of $11,999.62 and promised to repay the same on regular periodic payments. As of Feb. 2, the amount of $11,932.58 allegedly is now due and owing. The suit states Roadrunner is the current owner and holder of the note.
The plaintiff holds Vega III responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to timely pay the installments when due and refused to surrender possession of the collateral.
The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of $50,000 or less, prejudgment interest, attorney's fees costs and such other relief to which plaintiff may show itself justly entitled. It is represented by Thomas D. Pruyn of Pruyn Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
