La Michoacana Meat Market seeks restraining order against Carro Audio and Tint over parking issues

HOUSTON – A business is seeking a restraining order against another business over allegations the defendant's customers are using its parking lot and harming its business.

M & R Meat Market LTD, doing business as La Michoacana Meat Market, filed a complaint on March 9 in the Harris County District Court against Carlos Barrera, doing business as Carro Audio and Tint, alleging private nuisance.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the defendant's customers have been using the plaintiff's parking lot and has harmed its daily business. The plaintiff alleges that its customers have complained that they could not find parking.

The plaintiff holds Barrera responsible because the defendant allegedly intentionally interfered and invaded its interest by intentionally and unreasonably using its parking lot and spaces.

The plaintiff requests seeks a temporary restraining order enjoining defendant from utilizing its parking lot, monetary relief of less than $100,000 and such other relief to which plaintiff may be entitled. It is represented by Obed De La Cruz and Delia C. Rivera of Markle DelaCruz LLP in Houston.
