SHERMAN – A Dallas County man has filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against RPM XConstruction, LLC, per recent Sherman Division of the Eastern District of Texas records.

In court papers filed on Mar. 14, Ivan Villa claims the defendant mistreated him and other Hispanic employees.

Villa, whom XConstruction employed as a superintendent from Dec. 1, 2014 to Aug. 8, 2016, recounts his supervisor harassing him, stating white workers were spared verbal abuse.

The plaintiff reported the discrimination to the defendant’s human resources department only to be terminated shortly afterwards, the suit says.

Consequently, he seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

Matthew R. Scott, Javier Perez, and Carson D. Bridges of the law firm Scott Perez LLP in Dallas are representing Villa.
