AUSTIN – “Transformative” is the word Gov. Greg Abbott used to describe Texans for Lawsuit Reform’s impact on the Texas economy and the role lawsuit reform has played in creating and protecting the Texas Miracle.
Gov. Abbott recently announced that Texas received Site Selection Magazine’s 2017 Governor’s Cup, which recognizes the top-performing states for business and job creation.
The 2017 Governor’s Cup is a record-breaking sixth in a row for Texas and the 14th overall win—more than any other state.
During the press conference for the award, Abbott said: “A group that has been transformative for decades now in ensuring Texas has the right business climate – that is Texans for Lawsuit Reform.”
Abbott also credited Texas litigation reform for attracting business to the state.
