HOUSTON – A Harris County man claims a north Houston tire shop performed a poor job on his vehicle, adding it resulted in his involvement in an accident.

Omar Said pins his ordeal on Hard Texas Tire and Wheel LLC in a lawsuit filed on Mar. 19 in the Harris County 113th District Court.

The suit shows that Said took his vehicle to the defendant’s business on Nov. 28, 2017 to have its tires balanced and rotated.

According to court papers, the plaintiff later retrieved the vehicle from the shop only to have one of the wheels fall off while he was driving.

The wayward tire purportedly caused an accident.

Consequently, Said seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by Benjamin C. Kennedy and John Arthur Daspit of the Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
