HOUSTON – A Washington County man who worked for a tax preparation business claims the latter had not adequately compensated him.

In Brenham resident Roger R. Robinson’s lawsuit against Akilah Glaspie, doing business as Right Way Tax and Financial Services, LLC, the plaintiff explains that he and the defendant entered into an agreement in which he prepared taxes for individuals for a fee.

Recent court documents filed on Mar. 27 in the Harris County 269th District Court assert Robinson’s compensation was “unlawfully” withheld.

Robinson adds he practiced under the respondent’s tax license, employer identification number, firm name, and supervision.

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by Eric L. Singleton of Houston.
