Driver seeks damages from Greenleaf Resources over Longview auto accident

Car accident 07

MARSHALL – A Daingerfield man alleges an employee with a Mississippi corporation failed to keep a proper lookout and caused a collision in Longview.

Collie Hill filed a complaint on April 18 in the Marshall Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Greenleaf Resources Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 24, 2017, he was driving a 2012 Ford Taurus and was stopped on Estes Parkway in Longview when Stephan Wayne Davis, who was driving a pickup for defendant, struck the rear of his vehicle. He alleges he suffered severe and debilitating injuries that resulted in pain, mental anguish, medical expenses and loss of earning capacity.

The plaintiff holds Greenleaf Resources Inc. responsible because Davis allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to take evasive action to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual, economic and compensatory damages, prejudgment and post-judgment interest, costs of court and all further relief as he may be entitled. He is represented by Keith Miller of Law Office of Keith Miller in Tyler and Blake C. Erskine of Erskine & McMahon LLP in Longview.
