Law Office of Danny R. Scott alleged to owe more than $250,000 on note

BEAUMONT – A national banking association alleges a Houston law firm defaulted on a promissory note.

Post Oak Bank NA filed a complaint on March 2 in the Jefferson County District Court against Law Office of Danny R. Scott PC alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 17, 2012, the defendant executed a promissory note for $300,000 payable to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff alleges the defendant defaulted on the note and the amount of $285,452.80 is due and owing.

The plaintiff seeks the full amount due and owing, including accrued unpaid interest, plus attorneys' fees and expenses, all costs of courts and post judgment interest rates. It is represented by C. Scott Mann Jr. of Germer PLLC in Beaumont.
