GALVESTON – A plastics distributing company is alleged to owe a former inside sales representative unpaid overtime wages.

Brian K. Gaddis filed a complaint on April 23 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas against A&C Plastics Inc. alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 31, 2014, he was moved by the defendant from a salaried position to hourly and regularly worked more than 40 hours per week.

The plaintiff holds A&C Plastics Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly willfully failed to pay him overtime wages for the weeks in which he worked in excess of 40 hours per workweek as required by FLSA.

The plaintiff seeks unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, attorney’s fees, costs and litigation expenses, post-judgment interest, and such other and further relief as may be permitted or required by law. He is represented by Clark Woodson III in Angleton.
