HOUSTON – Two auto businesses and a temp agency are accused to terminating a female employee for pushing back against sexual harassment.

Ashley McNally brought a lawsuit against FW Services, Inc., doing business as Pace Setters Personnel; RDM Detailers; and Houston Auto Auction, Inc. on May 9 in the Harris County 164th District Court.

Court papers explain that Pace Setters assigned McNally to work as a laborer and car detailer at RDM and HAA in the spring of 2016, alleging the plaintiff was inappropriately pursued by RDM’s manager, Lamarck Jackson.

Jackson reportedly sent vulgar and sexually explicit texts to McNally, as well as took pictures of her body as she stretched inside vehicles to detail.

Aided by a co-worker, the plaintiff complained about Jackson to her superiors to supposedly no avail.

The defendants fired both McNally and her co-worker, to which the suit says was retaliatory.

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

She is represented by Peter Costea of Houston.
